'Mind your Mental Health' webinarTuesday 10 May 2022 at 11.00am - 12.30pm
The ONSIDE team has responded to participant feedback for more wellness and motivational events so we have combined the two and created the ‘Mind your Mental Health’ event. The webinar will take place on Tuesday 10 May 2022 at 11.00am via Zoom and will be an informative and uplifting 90 minutes with hand-picked speakers who will illustrate the positive reasons why we should all maintain an active approach to our mental health.
Our guest speakers include:
Michaela Hollywood, Motivational Speaker and Disability Activist who will relay the merits of using your voice to instigate positive change. Michaela will discuss her own road to advocacy and why she feels her peers can use advocacy to not only bring positive change to their own life, but the lives of other disabled people.
Fiona Magill, Mental Health Counsellor, Live Well Counselling who uses proactive skills and practices to help clients achieve and maintain good mental health. Fiona will be discussing her proactive skills with us and will be using practical excerpts from her self-designed ‘Filling My Wellness Toolbox’ course (please have a pen and piece of paper ready on the day).
Hayley Millar, ONSIDE’s Digital Inclusion Trainer will also provide an overview of how you can use your tablet and apps to instill feelings of wellness into your everyday life. Hayley will also discuss how you can use technology to boost your social connections which in turn increases your overall feeling of wellbeing.
